In a joint operation of Kushtia and Madaripur RAB, RAB arrested an accused who was sentenced and warranted in several cases in Kushtia from Dattapara village of Shibchar upazila of Madaripur on Sunday night.
The arrested Wasim Reza (43) is the son of deceased Kamal Hossain of Shalimpur area of ​​Dolatpur upazila in Kushtia.
On Monday, RAB-12 Kushtia Camp Company Commander Golam Farooq said in a circular signed that there are multiple murder and drug cases against the arrested Wasim Reza in Mirpur and Daulatpur police stations of Kushtia. Among them, he was a fugitive accused who was sentenced to life in 2 murder cases and had an arrest warrant in a drug case.He was arrested in a joint raid of Kushtia and Madaripur RAB on Sunday night.
