Mobile courts were conducted in different places of the upazila on Tuesday, May 30 in Barura, Comilla. At this time, the activities of various hospitals, diagnostic centers and drug sales centers were inspected. Offenses relating to quality of medicines, proper storage of medicines, sale of expired and non-brand medicines, violations of laws in hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centers are taken into account. At that time, according to the related provisions of Medicines Act-1940, Medical Practice and Private Clinics (Regulation) Ordinance 1982 and Consumer Rights Protection Act-2009, a total of 24,000/-(twenty four thousand Taka) was paid to the authorities of 6 institutions. Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate of Barura Upazila managed the mobile court. Mehdi Hasan. Prosecution was given by Salma Siddika, Assistant Director of Comilla District Office, Medicine Administration Directorate and Bhaskar Kishore Mahalanbish, Medical Officer of Barura Upazila Health Complex. The mobile court was assisted by the police force of Barura police station.
