Concluding and distribution of certificates of 9-day long priest training workshop was held at Jhalkathi as part of skill enhancement program (2nd phase) of priests and servants in religious and socio-social context. On Thursday (September 28) afternoon, Hindu Religious Welfare Trust, Ministry of Religious Affairs Barisal Regional Office organized the closing ceremony and certificate distribution at Jhalkathi Public Hari Sabha premises.

The event was presided over by Mrs. Champa Sen, Junior Consultant (Training), Barisal Regional Office, and Shri Moti Dola Guha, Honorable Trustee of the Ministry of Religion, Hindu Religious Welfare Trust, was present as the chief guest.

The program was moderated by Mr. Jayant Chakraborty, Junior Consultant (Training) of Barisal Regional Office.

The special guest was Professor Dr. Jhalkathi District Puja Celebration Council President Asim Kumar Saha, General Secretary Tarun Karmakar, Jhalkathi Public Harisbha General Secretary Asid Kumar Saha and many others.

It is to be noted that from this workshop, 25 priests of Jhalkathi district were trained in Hindu law and puja system and land law, ICT and digital Bangladesh and food nutrition and health care. At the end, certificates are given to the trainees.
