The crime of extracting sand from Gomti river adjacent to Aranyapur village of Comilla’s Panchthubi union was organized. Organized crime under the Balumhal and Soil Management Act-2010 was taken into consideration by the mobile court. 50,000/-(fifty thousand rupees) was imposed on the accused as per the prevailing law on admission of the offense discovered by the mobile court. The court was conducted by Executive Magistrate and Assistant Commissioner (Land), Adarsh Sadar Md. Mehdi Hasan. He said that the mobile court will be continued by the district administration in the interest of the public.
