Chittagong University Barura Student Welfare Association has formed a new committee. Gazi Fakhrul Amin has been nominated as the president. Mushfiqa Tafsi Munni became the general secretary and Md Taiyeb ul Hasib became the organizing secretary. On Wednesday (May 3) “Chittagong University Barura Student Welfare Association” a new committee of 3 members for the 2022-23 session of the university’s museum premises was announced with a tenure of six months. This committee was formed in a discussion meeting organized with the teachers and current students of Chabir Barura Upazila. About 30 current students and faculty advisors were present at this time. Chittagong University Student Welfare Association’s outgoing president Mozammel Rakib and general secretary Md. Mahbubur Rahman Tuhin signed the committee. Professor Chandan Kumar Poddar, Professor Dr. Bidhan Chandra Majumder, Professor Dr. Mohammad Aman Ullah, Dr. Mahbubur Rahman, Nazmul Hossain, Shipon Hossain and Mithu Ranjan Sarkar are advisors in this newly formed committee. The president of the newly formed committee said that he will work in this committee with everyone. And at the same time, the university will conduct other social and cultural activities including assistance to students appearing in the entrance examination, providing scholarships to underprivileged and meritorious students, tree plantation programs this year. On campus we live like a family. This organization has given us that opportunity. The general secretary said that by using the previous experience, we will speed up the organizational work of “Chittagong University Barura Chhatra Kalyan Samiti” through education, unity and cooperation with everyone and move the organization forward. New batch students of Barura Upazila have been included as members of this organization.
