On the occasion of March 26th Great Freedom and National Children’s Day, DC Court paid floral tributes to the memorial of martyred freedom fighter of Chattwar “Children and Generation of Freedom Fighters” Kushtia District Branch. Under the leadership of President Md. Habibur Rahman, floral tributes were present at Shaheed Bir Shaheed Mural, Vice Presidents Tariqul Islam and Mizanur Rahman, General Secretary Al-Amin Mizanur Rashid, Joint General Secretary Sheikh Suvin Akhtar, KM Masudur Rahman, Muktadir Rahman Ami, Office Secretary. Sumaiya Khatun, Education Affairs Secretary Rabiul Islam, Publicity and Publications Secretary Fatema Khatun. Later, on the Great Independence and National Children’s Day, at Shilpakala Academy at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, the chief guest of the event, Mohammad Saidul Islam, Deputy Commissioner of Kushtia, presented 1 umbrella and 1 bed seat to the family of the martyred freedom fighters and the war wounded freedom fighters. Police Superintendent Khairul Alam, former Deputy Commander Rafiqul Alam Tuku, brave freedom fighter Nasir Mridha, former Sadar Upazila Commander Mosharraf Hossain and Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Ataur Rahman were present as special guests. Also present were the family members of the brave freedom fighters, the members of the Kushtia district branch of freedom fighters’ children and generations and the heads of various institutions. After distribution of food to all, cultural program at 5 pm.
