Check distribution of Tk 94 lakh for medical assistance in Chapainawabganj

In Chapainawabganj,188 patients suffering from 6 complex diseases, including terminal cancer, received medical assistance worth Tk 94 lakh and 49 people were given a check of Tk 2 lakh for the financial assistance of Bangladesh National Social Welfare Council. On Monday (May 15) morning, Deputy Commissioner AKM Galiv Khan was present as the chief guest at the check distribution ceremony in the conference room of the office organized by Chapainawabganj District Commissioner and District Social Services Department (DC). Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Ahmed – Mahbub – Ul Islam presided over the check distribution ceremony. Advocate Abdus Samad, a brave freedom fighter, was present as a special guest. During this time, Deputy Director of Chapainawabganj District Office of Social Services Department Umme Kulsoom, Assistant Director Waheda Khatun and journalists of print and electronic media were present.
District Social Services Office Deputy Director Umm Kulsoom and Chief Guest (DC) AKM Galiv Khan in the 1st and 2nd stage of the financial year 2022 – 2023 188 patients in the district suffering from cancer, kidney, liver cirrhosis, paralyzed by stroke, congenital heart disease, thalassemia. Each distributed a check of 50 thousand rupees for a total of 94 lakh rupees. In the same event, a check of Tk 2 lakh was distributed to the 49 people who received applications from the District Commissioner and the District Social Services Office. Some of the beneficiaries present at the time said that we are benefited by receiving the financial assistance for treatment.  I can spend this money for treatment. They expressed their gratitude to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina along with District Commissioner and District Social Services Directorate and said these words.
