Bloody body recovered from canal of fourth class student in Rajapur

Bloody body of a fourth class student named Shahriar Islam Tawheed was recovered from the canal in Jhalkathi Rajapur.
On Tuesday (November 14) around 4:30 pm, the dead body was recovered from under the canal bridge of Tafal Bari, in front of UP member Mamun’s house, at a place called Dakshin Rajapur Balaibari of the upazila. Deceased Shahriar Islam Tawheed is a Class IV student of Rajapur Pilot High School and is the son of Milon Howladar, a resident of Rajapur Government College area and the owner of Easybike garage. Rajapur Police Station OC Investigation Firoz Kamal is confirming the matter.
The father of the victim, Milan Howladar, said that after 11:00 pm today, he raised his hand in front of my garage and went towards the house. After noon I went home and found that my son had not come home. Since then, after searching and not finding anywhere, everyone started looking for it. After that around 4:30 pm, when I saw the school bag floating under the bridge of local UP member Md. Mamun’s house, I went to pick it up and found my son next to it. After being rescued and taken to Rajapur Upazila Health Complex, the doctor on duty declared him dead. The condition in which my son was found does not appear to have been a natural death.
In this regard, Rajapur Police Station OC Investigation Firoz Kamal said, after receiving information, it is expected to recover the body from Rajapur Upazila Health Complex and take it to the police station. The exact cause of death will be known after the autopsy.
