On 01 April under the direction of Barura Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md Feroz Hossain along with SI/Ali Mortuza, ASI/ Md Ariful Mawla, ASI/ Md Wahidul Karim, ASI/ Abdul Motaleb and forces in Barura Police Station area during a special operation on the basis of secret information No. 03 Khoshbas North under Barura Police Station. Inside Akhtar’s auto parts shop in Union’s Khoshbas East Bazar at 5.05 pm on April 1 1. Md. Rabbi (27), father – Md. Abdur Rahim, mother – Mosa Hasmater Nesha, Sang-Dewan Nagar (Miyaji Bari), Thana-Barura, District- Comilla were arrested with 30 kg of ganja and 300 pieces of Yaba tablets. Absconding accused 02 John Akhtar Hossain and Mahe Alam. He has been selling narcotic drugs with the help of his other absconding accomplice Aktar Hossain (30) and Md. Mahe Alam Prakash Maha Alam (36) in Khoshbas Union of Barura Police Station for a long time. He is accused in several drug cases. In the said incident, SI/Md Ali Mortuza of Barura Police Station filed a statement as the plaintiff, Barura Police Station Case No-01, dated -01/04/2023 Section-36(1) Table 19(c)/10(a) of Narcotics Control Act, 2018 )/41 has been granted.
