Comilla South District Awami League vice-president A. as part of the program announced by the center of Awami League to protest against BNP-Jamaat’s arson-anarchy in Dhaka on October 28 and the hartal called by BNP on October 29. Z. M. A peace and development rally was held in Barura Upazila of Comilla under the leadership of Shafiuddin Shamim. Today, October 29, 2023, an anti-hartal peace march organized by Awami League and its affiliated organizations in the morning started from the zero point of Barura Municipality and circled the main main road of the city and in the afternoon a huge peace and development rally was held in the field adjacent to Aganagar Bazar of Aganagar Union of the upazila.

In the speech of the chief guest, Shafiuddin Shamim said, Bangladesh is moving ahead with unstoppable progress at the speed of Durbar, the development that has taken place in the country under the leadership of honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is a role model for the whole world today. Infrastructural and economic development in the country, people’s quality of life has improved. Average human life expectancy has increased, infant and maternal mortality rates have decreased. The education rate has increased, along with it, the employment of people has increased. All things considered, people are generally better off.
The BNP Jamaat alliance has today indulged in domestic and international conspiracies to destabilize the country by creating anarchy in the name of strikes, protests and blockades. Hired international lobbyists to tarnish the country’s image. Their inaction will not be accepted in any way. Today’s Bangladesh is a wonder to the world; Which is not good for many people. Awami League is advancing the people of the country in the direction of development. Sheikh Hasina has no choice for this. We will stop all kinds of misbehavior with Awami League and its affiliated organizations and like-minded parties. I will not allow the ongoing development activities and processes to be hindered in any way. BNP’s terrorism, arson threats to the safety of life and property will not be accepted in any way. Where there is terrorism-anarchy, we will form a collective resistance. So let’s stop all the inactivity and vote together to continue the development and modernization under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and re-elect Bangabandhu’s leader Sheikh Hasina and her party.
