Speaker of the National Assembly Hafiz Uddin Ahmed Bir Bikram has congratulated Bangladesh on their victory in the final of the SAFF Under-20 Championship.
Bangladesh and India faced off in the final match held in the capital of Maldives, Male, on Friday. After a draw in regular time, Bangladesh defeated India 4-3 in the Tribhuvan Stadium to win the title.
The Speaker congratulated the players, coaches and officials of the Under-20 Bangladesh football team as well as those concerned with the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF).
He expressed hope that the winning streak of the Bangladesh football team will continue in the future as well.
