In Hatibandha Upazila of Lalmonirhat, an allegation has been made against the Indian Border Guard Force (BSF) of intruding into the interior of Bangladesh and beating up an old woman. On such news, members of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Singimari camp of the upazila reached the spot and brought the situation under control.  After the incident, the border guards of both countries held an immediate flag meeting.

The incident took place on Tuesday (December 5) in the pocket border area of ​​Singimari union of the upazila. It is known that an old woman named Zohra Begum went to dry clothes in the Bukhand of Bangladesh near the 8th sub pillar of the main pillar no. 893 of the pocket border of the upazila.  At that time, a member of Phulbari BSF camp in Shitalkuchi area of ​​Cooch Behar region of India entered the interior of Bangladesh.

At that time old woman Zohra Begum was beaten by BSF members.  When the people on the border gathered and protested at the old woman’s self-crying, the Indian border guard force BSF fired blank rubber bullets and went to their own place. At present, there is a lot of tension on the border. Samchul Alam, a member of Singimari Union Parishad, said that almost every time the Indian BSF enters the interior of Bangladesh.  .

Ajo entered Bangladesh and beat up a woman and fired blank rubber bullets.  He demanded to investigate these incidents and take necessary measures.  Nasir Hossain, the in-charge of Singimari BGB camp, said that we reached the spot immediately after receiving the news and calmed down the situation.  Immediately a flag meeting was held between BGB-BSF.  Bangladesh protested in this incident.  The situation is currently normal.
