The final game of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Bangama Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib Under-17 Football Tournament was held at Trishal in Mymensingh. The final game was held on Friday (June 16) at 4 pm at the Trishal Government Nazrul Academy ground. Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Religion, Member of Parliament Alhaj Hafez Maulana Ruhul Amin Madani attended as the chief guest under the chairmanship of Trishal Upazila Nirbahi Officer Jewel Ahmed and distributed the prizes to the winners. Trishal Upazila Parishad Chairman Alhaj Abdul Matin Sarkar, Municipal Mayor Alhaj ABM Anishuzzaman Anich, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Hasan Abdullah Al Mahmud, Trishal Thani Officer-in-Charge Md Moin Uddin, Upazila Awami League President Abul Kalam Md Shamsuddin, General Secretary were present. Iqbal Hossain, Upazila Vice Chairman Humayun Kabir Akand, Mahmuda Khanam Ruma, District Council Member Abdullah Al Mamun, Salma Begum, District Awami League Former Joint General Secretary Alhaj Nabi Newaz Sarkar, Former Member Fazle Rabbi, Upazila Awami League Former Senior Joint Convener Shobha Mia. Akand, joint convener Ashraful Islam Mandal, various union parishad chairman, municipal councilors, leaders of Trishal Upazila and municipal Chhatra League, upazila Bangabandhu Foundation convener Nazmul Hasan Jiban, journalist Ahsan Habib and others. In the game, Trishal Municipality defeated Balipara Union 1-0 to become champions for the third time in a row.
