Starvation, half-starvation, malnutrition, and various other symptoms are already part of the everyday lives of the people of Bangladesh and rural areas of Bangladesh. Many poor families live by eating the fruits and roots of trees and plants in the absence of regular food and meeting their nutritional needs through these seasonal fruits and roots, even though a healthy person needs to eat at least 115 gm. of fruits daily. But in this case, the first health injury comes due to the use of insecticides called Cot, Tido, Fighter, Diathen, Nine Powder, Bapistin, Flora, Shampoo, Boron, Folicur, Robral, Premier, and Entacol to protect the fruit from insect attack. In order to prevent this indiscriminate use, the agricultural extension department and other public and private organizations are constantly alerting producers and farmers about the warnings and rules of use. As a result, it has not taken the form of an epidemic, but it cannot be sworn that there are no exceptions to the usage rules. After finding a way to get rid of insects and spiders, at the stage of ripening, coloring, preserving, and marketing the fruits, we fell prey to unscrupulous traders, fake brokers, and hoarders. They are illegally using chemicals called cyanide, provit, eden, and ethereal to ripen fruits and formalin to prevent rotting. However, as a result of various chemicals and a formalin mixture in the fruit root, eating the fruit root causes liver cancer, kidney partial or, in some cases, complete uselessness, and nervous weakness. Generation after generation is facing dire consequences, including brain stress, dementia, stomach, lung, and trachea blood cancer, abnormal acidity, and birth defects in pregnant mothers as side effects. However, no one concerned is
paying attention to that. Their strong statement is that without the formalin mixture, they are not able to prevent the rotting of fruits and roots and bring them from far away to reach the hands of the customers.

A study has shown that fruit roots are being transformed into poisons as a result of six stages of chemical application, from being on the tree to being marketed. In this case, the Department of Agriculture Extension and other related organizations should find an acceptable solution and come forward to protect the nation from this disaster and epidemic. We must remember that by eliminating poisonous fruits and roots, problems will not be solved permanently, but new problems will arise. Basically, customer service is not important in a capitalist society. That is why the state has to come forward with a welfare attitude and appropriate remedies to protect the interests of consumers. It is true that our government celebrates various national and international days and events, but experts doubt whether they keep their goals and objectives in mind! For example, His Excellency the President himself appeared as the chief guest at the National Health Day celebrations and gave enlightening speeches and good words. However, the victims are claiming that even the President is not getting relief from the way in which all the materials of serious health damage are constantly being produced from the chicken shops, meat shops, and goat shops of Kaptan Bazar, which is just a quarter of a kilometer away from his office and residence. As soon as the problem arises, the solution cannot be found through repression or legislation without taking appropriate remedial measures by the concerned authorities. Rather, we think it is an urgent duty to take appropriate steps to protect the interests of both parties, including raising public awareness, or to determine alternative approaches for the parties.
