Bangladesh Online Journalist Association Upazila Branch Publicity and Publication Editor and Dainik Sanbad Sarabela newspaper’s Charfassion Upazila Representative Md.  A man named Jalal Ahmed Talukder, an influential market house owner, has been accused of publicly threatening Hasan Liton and attempting to beat him up.
 On Sunday (October 08) there was a public death threat and attempted beating at the bus stand in Dakshin Aicha Bazar in broad daylight.
 In this incident, journalist Hasan Litak filed a written complaint at the South Aicha police station, accusing Jalal Ahmed Talukdar as the plaintiff.
 Journalist Hasan Liton said that the construction of drains on both sides of the main road is ongoing for the development of South Aicha market.  When there were irregularities in the construction work of the market drain, on Saturday the traders of the local market staged a protest march against the contractor to protest the irregularities in the construction work.  He and other colleagues recorded the video of the procession and promoted it in various media including social media.
 That’s when contractor Zakir Hossain, known terrorist Jalal Ahmed Talukder, found him alone at South Aicha bus stand area and tried to beat him up in broad daylight.  Failed to beat him and threatened to kill him.
 In this incident, he filed a written complaint at the Dakshin Aicha police station as a plaintiff.  Journalists working in fashion have demanded exemplary punishment by bringing the accused under the law.
 When the accused Jalal Talukder was asked about this, he again threatened to watch all the journalists if they published the news.
 OC of South Aicha police station.  Saeed Ahmed said that he has received a written complaint.  The complaint will be promptly investigated and legal action will be taken.
