 There was an attack on a husband and wife due to a land dispute in Hugra Union of Tangail. The attack took place in Moisha Nandalal village of Hogra Union of Tangail Sadar Upazila on Tuesday (May 23) afternoon. Md Haider Ali, elder brother of the injured Lal Mia filed a complaint with the police station in this regard. According to the charge sheet, 5 people were injured in the attack. At that time, the assailants snatched away the chain of Rasvan weighing 1 load 4 annas, which was with the injured Amina. The estimated value of which is 1 lakh 21 thousand taka. The injured in this incident are the plaintiff of the case, Haider Ali, his younger brother Md. Lal Mia (45), Md. Amina Begum, Md. Akbar Ali and Md. Atiq Hasan. It is also known from the charge sheet that they filed a case earlier due to a land dispute. Section 144 has been issued in this regard. Disobeying this prohibition, the opponents attacked with chapati, ram da, iron hammer and iron rod on Tuesday afternoon on May 23. It is also known from the charge sheet that the attackers, Bulbul (28), son of deceased Shamchul Haque of Moisha Nandlal village, Anichur (35), Majedul (40), Atwar (20), deceased Shamchul Haque’s wife Majeda Begum, Anichur’s wife Mocha, are involved in the attack. Begum and Bulbul’s wife Noor Jahan. Later, when the locals came forward shouting for the injured, the assailants fled and threatened to kill them if a case was filed. Later, with the help of locals, he was taken to Tangail Sadar Hospital for treatment. Md Haider Ali, elder brother of the injured Lal Mia filed a complaint in this regard at the police station. Sadar Thana police said that the investigation is going on after the complaint. 2 of the injured are currently undergoing treatment at Tangail 250-bed Sadar Hospital.
