Tofazzel Hossain Babul Munshi, president of Charbissas Union A’League of Galachipa Upazila of Patuakhali, announced his voluntary resignation from the path of the president of Union A’League of Bangladesh A’League in a written letter in the hall room No. 12 of Charbiswam Union Parishad at 11 o’clock on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. Around hundred people of the union were present at this time.
He mentioned in the leaked announcement that an impartial chairman has been working on government development under the current non-partisan interim government. I voluntarily and with my own knowledge resigned from the said position (President, Char Biswas Union Awami League) due to personal and family reasons. Since there is no organizational activity of Awami League at present, I cannot resign organizationally even if I wish in writing. So I was forced to resign through a press conference through a declaration letter.
At the same time Union Jubo League President Md. Neshar Uddin Sarkar announced his resignation from his post in a written letter.
