Indian Bengali TV serial actress Suchandra Dasgupta died in a road accident. The accident happened on the way home after shooting on Saturday (May 20) night. According to Hindustan Times, Suchandra was seen in the serial ‘Gauri Elo’. He was shooting on Saturday like any other day. He was returning home on a motorcycle after shooting last night. A lorry hit the bike near Ghoshpara of Baranagar police station in West Bengal and crushed the actress. Suchandra died on the spot. Another media reported citing eyewitnesses that actress Suchandra had booked the bike online. A bicycle came in front of that bike at the signal near Baranagar junction. Suchandra fell down when the bike driver braked, at which time a ten-wheeler lorry from behind crushed her. The actress was wearing a helmet. But it crumbles to pieces. Baranagar police has seized the lorry that hit Suchandra and the driver of the lorry has been arrested.
