Hlanyo Marma, a 10th grade student of Bangladesh Naval School and College, Kaptai, has achieved extraordinary success in the Kaptai Upazila level music competition on the occasion of the National Education Week-2026. By participating in the “B/C” group, she has added glory to the education field of Kaptai by securing first place in two different subjects.
Her success in the Upazila level competition was 1st place in Rabindra Sangeet, 1st place in Folk Music. In recognition of this achievement, the Upazila Secondary Education Office, Kaptai, presented her with a certificate of honor and an award. Hlanyo Marma’s parents, who were excited about her daughter’s success, told our correspondent that they are grateful to the authorities concerned, the school teachers and the people of Kaptai. At the same time, they sought prayers and blessings from everyone for their daughter. This success is not only a personal achievement of Hranjo Marma; but also a matter of pride for her educational institution and Kaptai Upazila. Those concerned believe that this double success of hers indicates greater potential in the field of music in the future. The Upazila Secondary Education Office has also wished her a bright future. Jhulan Dutta, General Secretary of Kaptai Upazila Shilpakala Academy, said, “Hranjo Marma is my student. She has won awards by participating in various competitions including the National Education Week. Her singing of Marma songs, Rabindra Sangeet and patriotic songs fascinates everyone. I wish her success in her musical career.
