Entrepreneurial Director of South Bengal Agriculture and Commerce (SBAC) Bank. ZM Shafiuddin (Shamim) has been elected as the chairman of the bank. On 16 August 2023, he was unanimously elected as the chairman in the 169th board meeting of the bank. It is known that Z. M. Shafiuddin (Shamim) was born on January 10, 1969 in a traditional noble Muslim family in Adda village of Barura upazila of Comilla district.
Secondary from Comilla Zilla School and Higher Secondary from Comilla Victoria Government College and Bachelors and Masters (First Class) in Marketing from Dhaka University and Masters in Business Administration from University of West Scotland, UK. After completing his education, Shafiuddin Shamim joined the family business and established himself at a unique height with dedication, talent and hard work. SQ Group, one of the largest industrial groups in the country,
was established by his hands. Through this group, he established 23 factories, in which more than 6,000 (six thousand) people have been employed. Shafiuddin Shamim is a philanthropic, philanthropic and philanthropic personality who has long established the SQ Foundation as part of his social responsibility, through which he has been contributing to education, health, housing, self-employment and quality of life for the deprived and backward people of the society. He also provided food delivery to homes during the corona epidemic in his own area, providing oxygen cylinders during the corona epidemic at six centers around three thousand people took this service, oxygen supply for the corona isolation center.
