A laborer named Mohammad Abu Saeed (25) died due to electrocution while piling in Raisnagar area of Rayer Bagh in Kadamtali of the capital.
The incident happened around 4:30 pm on Friday (October 13). He was rescued unconscious and taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the doctor on duty declared him dead around 6:30 in the evening.
