A beat policing meeting was held to control the law and order situation at Lalmohan in Bhola.
This bit policing meeting was organized by Lalmohan police station in Lordhardinge market of Lordhardinge union of upazila on Sunday (October 1) night.
In the beat policing meeting, Lalmohan Upazila Awami League vice-president and Lord Hardinge UP Chairman Alhaj Abul Kashem Mia presided as the chief guest, Lalmohan Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) SM Mahbub-ul-Alam, Lalmohan Police Inspector was present as the special guest. Also Principal of Lord Hardinge Fazil Degree Madrasa Maulana Yusuf, UP Member Nazir Ahmed, Gani Master, Upazila Jubo League Joint Convener Lecturer Iqbal Hossain Julhas, Vice Principal of Lord Hardinge Fazil Degree Madrasa Maulana Aliullah, Tofazzal Haider, Officer-force of Lalmohan police station along with concerned beat officers, market traders and local leaders were present.
At that time, the officer-in-charge SM Mahbub-ul-Alam said, “In order to protect law and order, the conscious people of the area should keep a watchful eye and help the police with any information. Social movement should be developed to prevent drugs and gambling in the area.
The people present expressed their determination to join hands with the police and help the police in suppressing crime.
