Moulvibazar organization at home and abroad stands by helpless people: Laying the foundation stone of the 4th pucca house

Mosahid Ahmed, Moulvibazar: The Desh-Bidesh Moulvibazar Organization has been working tirelessly for a long time to bring smiles to the faces of helpless and underprivileged people. As part of the organization’s continuous humanitarian activities, the foundation stone of the 4th pucca house has been laid. The foundation stone was laid at a ceremony organized in Paguria village of Akhailkura Union No. 5 of Moulvibazar Sadar Upazila on Saturday (July 30). The ceremony was organized under the chairmanship of Shah Alam Dipu, Vice President of Desh-Bidesh Moulvibazar Organization and moderated by Md. Jahangir Mia, and Khaled Hossain, Founding President of Desh-Bidesh Moulvibazar Organization, was present as the chief guest. Among others present were – Advisor of Desh-Bidesh Moulvibazar Organization Hasid Ahmed, Vice President Tajul Islam Chowdhury, Vice General Secretary Mizanur Rahman, Office Secretary M. Jasim JK, Shipon Ahmed, younger brother of London expatriate Shahin Akand, Executive members of Desh-Bidesh Moulvibazar Organization – Abdur Rahman Parvez, Saju Mia, Nanu Mia, Alamgir Hossain, Junel Ahmed, etc. In addition, the leaders of the executive committee and advisory committee of the organization were present and expressed their support for this humanitarian initiative. The speakers at the event said that the organization is working with the aim of standing by the helpless people with the help of the wealthy and expatriates of the society. Already, several pucca houses have been built for helpless families under the initiative of the organization. In addition, the organization is playing a commendable role in bearing the medical expenses of poor patients, providing education assistance, distributing winter clothes, providing food assistance and standing by the people affected by various disasters. The leaders of the organization said that this humanitarian service activity will continue in the future. They urged the more affluent members of the society and expatriates to come forward for such public welfare initiatives. Welcoming this initiative of the local residents’ organization, they said that such humanitarian activities will play an important role in bringing positive changes in the society and will be a new light of hope for the helpless people.
