On Thursday (July 16) at 10 am, a discussion meeting was held on the occasion of observing “July Martyrs’ Day-2026” at the Bilaichari Upazila Parishad Conference Room under the chairmanship of Upazila Executive Officer Md. Zakir Hossain and organized by the Upazila administration. In the discussion meeting, deep respect was paid to the sacrifice of the martyrs in the July Uprising and their contribution was remembered with due dignity. At the end of the meeting, special prayers and prayers were offered seeking forgiveness for the souls of the martyrs in the July Uprising.
Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Osman Gani, Upazila Agriculture Officer Rajash Prasad Roy, Upazila Election Officer Md. Selim Uddin, Upazila Youth Development Officer Rani Barua, Upazila Resource Training Instructor Bakhteyar Hossain, Union Parishad Chairman Sunil Kanti Dewan, officials/employees of other departments and local public representatives were present.
