Sports Desk : Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bowl first in the third and final ODI of the series. In Harare, two pacers Shariful Islam and Taskin Ahmed proved captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz’s decision right and put Zimbabwe under pressure from the start.

Shariful brought Bangladesh’s first success in the sixth over. Ben Curran, the centurion of the previous match, was unfortunately dismissed. Shariful’s delivery outside the off-stump was played defensively, but the ball rolled and hit the stumps. He tried to move it with the bat, but the bell fell by then. He returned for 4 runs off 18 balls.

After that, he did not have to wait long for the second wicket. In the next over, Brian Bennett handed the ball outside the off-stump of Taskin Ahmed to the wicketkeeper. The opener was dismissed on Taskin’s first delivery.

Shariful also returned Craze Irvine, who had scored 5 runs. The left-handed batsman took a catch behind the wicket of Nurul Hasan Sohan.

Bangladesh made two changes in the final match of the series. Mohammad Saifuddin and Tanvir Islam replaced Nahid Rana and Rishad Hossain. On the other hand, the hosts are led by Sikandar Raja. Zimbabwe rested regular captain Richard Ngarava.
