Police have arrested one person in an operation in connection with the recovery of a businessman’s body in a sack from the bathroom of a house in Brahmangram, Khalilpur Union No. 1 of Moulvibazar Sadar Upazila. On Tuesday (July 7), around 5:30 am, police conducted an operation and arrested Soleman Mia (50), father of Aman Ullah, a resident of Brahmangram. Police claim that a dao used in the murder has been recovered. However, the police have not yet given any details about the formal charges against the arrested person or his involvement. Earlier, on Monday night, around 1 am, police reached the spot after receiving information that a young man’s body was found in a sack in the bathroom of Subahan Haji’s house and launched a rescue operation. The deceased is Abdul Aziz (32). His home is in Amoil area of ​​Bishwanath Upazila of Sylhet district. Initially, it was learned that he was involved in the dry goods business. Police said the body has been sent to Moulvibazar 250-bed hospital for autopsy. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the murder and how the incident occurred. The incident has created a sensation in the area. Police said more information is being collected for the sake of the investigation and details will be announced later.
