Anti-corruption debate, essay, painting competition and prize distribution in Mymensingh

Anti-corruption debate, essay, painting competition and prize distribution ceremony were held in Mymensingh.

The event was held at the Teachers Training College Hallroom on Sunday (June 21) organized by the District Corruption Prevention Committee.

A total of 32 students from 8 teams participated in the debate competition. In this, the contestants for and against had a lively discussion on the importance of social movements and law enforcement and emphasized on law enforcement and social movements to make the country corruption-free. Mukul Niketan High School (opposition team) won first place in the competition and Vidyamayi Government Girls’ High School (pro-party team) won second place. Fatima Tarannum Sneha, a student of class 10 of Mukul Niketan High School, won first place and Israt Mehazabien Mallick, a student of Vidyamayi Government Girls’ High School, won second place. In addition, 27 people participated in the essay competition and 27 in the drawing competition and the first, second and third place winners in three groups were awarded. The event was presided over by Aziz Ahmed Sadek Reza, President of Mymensingh District Corruption Prevention Committee, and was attended by Rizia Khatun, Principal of Teachers Training College, and Mohsina Khatun, District Education Officer. Ranjit Kumar Karmakar, Deputy Director of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Mymensingh Integrated District Office, was present as the main discussant. The event was moderated by Md. Mansur Alam Chandan, General Secretary of the District Corruption Prevention Committee, and students, teachers, guardians and journalists from various schools were present.
