Staff Reporter: Sahin Babu’s father Tajul Islam is a prominent businessman, owner of shop number 54B, Level-3, Jamuna Future Park, and head of Khan Enterprise. He was living a normal life with his family. After the mass uprising on the 24th, miscreants set fire to Sahin Babu’s house late at night. The villagers did not cooperate with Sahin Babu’s family in this regard. On the contrary, they filed a false case in the court in his name.

Also Sahin Babu (43), Senior Vice President, Bangabandhu Cultural Alliance, Dhaka Metropolitan South, Sang-281, Purba Nakhalpara, Thana- Tejgaon Industrial Area, District- Dhaka. In order to further improve the business and help a helpless woman, on 05/06/2025, Parveen Akhter (38), father- deceased Shamsul Haque, Sang-338/B, Purba Nakhalpara, Thana- Tejgaon Industrial Area, District- Dhaka. The accused took a loan of Tk 6,50,000/- (six lakh fifty thousand) from the nearest bank by signing a non-judicial stamp of Tk 300/- (three hundred). It is stipulated that Parveen will be given Tk 10,000/- (ten thousand) as dividend every month. If the original money needs to be returned, Sahin should be informed 2 months before the loan. At 4:30 PM on 13/06/2026, while the witness was in the dock, Sahin Babu went to the house at the scene to return the money to Parveen. Parveen threatened Sahin Babu by showing him the money and said that if you go too far with this, I will kill you and throw you in the madhouse. Also, among the witnesses was Parveen’s hired goon Shahin, who beat him severely and at one point in the incident, a common man of the area rescued Sahin Babu and admitted him to IBN Sina Hosspital .
After receiving first aid, when Sahin Babu went to the police station to lodge a complaint, the law enforcement agency did not accept his complaint. Instead, Parveen filed a false case against Sahin Babu under sections 406/420/506. Sahin Babu and his family are now trying to kill and disappear him from various quarters to make him join the group of the missing Bangabandhu and Sahin Babu is constantly being implicated in baseless cases. It has become difficult for Sahin Babu to survive as a common man in the country. Sahin Babu is not getting any kind of legal assistance. His crime is that he is working in politics for the development of the country, inspired by the ideals of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. But Sahin Babu has no way to work in the country, from where he will serve his society or advance the development of the country. In response to the attack in the anonymous case, the country’s lawyers, law enforcement agencies and human rights organizations are not providing any kind of security assistance to Sahin Babu.
Sahin Babu and his family continue to suffer from insecurity.
