Another Feather in Her Cap: Mirsharai’s Frida Yasmin Named Best OC of Chittagong District

​Mirsharai Correspondent : Farida Yasmin, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Mirsharai Police Station, has received special recognition for her outstanding contributions to maintaining law and order, curbing crime, and ensuring people-friendly policing. She has been selected as the best Officer-in-Charge (OC) in Chittagong district.
​On Wednesday, Chittagong District Superintendent of Police (SP) Md. Masud Alam handed over the award and accolade to her during the monthly welfare meeting held at the District Police Lines.
​According to police sources, OC Farida Yasmin demonstrated exceptional performance in May by controlling crime, recovering drugs, executing warrants, solving clueless cases, and ensuring prompt service for the general public in the Mirsharai taking area. In recognition of her smart and humane policing activities, the District Police honored her with the ‘Best OC’ status.
​Expressing her feelings after receiving the award, OC Farida Yasmin said:
​”Recognition for any work increases responsibility and inspiration towards duty. This glory does not belong to me alone; it is the result of the tireless hard work of every member of the Mirsharai Police Station. Our efforts will continue in the future to gift the residents of Mirsharai a safe and crime-free sub-district (Upazila).”
​Senior officials of the district police were present during the award distribution. They congratulated Farida Yasmin on her success and urged police officers from other stations in the district to work with more dedication for public welfar
