“Land Service Fair” inaugurated in Kaptai

The “Land Service Fair” was inaugurated at the Assistant Commissioner (Land) Office on Tuesday (May 19) at 11 am to provide easy and hassle-free land-related services to the doorsteps of the common people in Kaptai Upazila of Rangamati.
Kaptai Upazila Executive Officer Md. Raihanul Islam inaugurated the fair as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony. Rangamati District BNP Vice President Dr. Rahmat Ullah, former Kaptai Upazila Parishad Chairman Dildar Hossain, Jamaat-e-Islami Kaptai Branch President Md. Harunur Rashid, former Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Nurunahar Begum and Kaptai Upazila Land Office Kanungo Md. Kajal were present as special guests at the ceremony moderated by Kaptai Shilpakala General Secretary Jhulan Dutta. Ensuring land-related services in an easy, fast and transparent manner. Modern land services are being provided to the people through digital methods, which will play an important role in reducing people’s suffering. He also said, “People should be aware and avoid the dalchakra and receive government services directly. The land office is now working as a place of trust for the people. After the ceremony, a rally started from the Kaptai land office, circled the main road of the upazila and ended at the land office. Local public representatives, headmen, leaders of various political parties, officials and employees of various departments and dignitaries were present at the fair. Various land-related services, information and advice were provided at the fair.
