Based on confidential information from the District NSI, NSI, Upazila Administration and Police, 1000 kg of government wheat has been recovered from an abandoned garage in a joint operation in Jhalakathi.
The operation was conducted in the Bhairabpasha area of ​​Jhalakathi on Tuesday (May 19) morning. Based on information from the District NSI, the Upazila Administration and Police jointly conducted an operation and recovered 22 sacks of government wheat from the garage of Abdul Khalek in Chhota Premhar area.
The authorities concerned said that the amount of wheat recovered was about 1000 kg. Each sack contained 50 kg of wheat.
SI Karun Kumar Biswas of Nalchiti Police Station said that during the operation, it was found that government wheat was stored in a garage in the market area. Later, the wheat was seized in the presence of NSI and Food Department officials.
He further said that further legal action will be taken regarding the recovered government wheat subject to investigation.
