Farewell reception for UNO Ruhul Amin in Kaptai

Yesterday, May 11 (Monday) at 3 pm, the farewell reception for Kaptai Upazila Executive Officer Ruhul Amin was held at the Upazila Auditorium Hallroom. The program was held under the chairmanship of Khorshedul Alam Quaderi, Convener of the Joint Farewell Celebration Committee and Director of Wagga Tea Limited, and moderated by Nur Mohammad Babu and journalist Jhulan Dutta.
The welcome speech was delivered by the Member Secretary of the Joint Farewell Celebration Committee and former Upazila Chairman Md. Dildar Hossain. Kaptai Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mahmudul Hasan Rubel, Assistant General Manager of Kaptai BFIDC, Tirtha Jit Roy, District BNP Vice President Dr. Rahmatullah, Kaptai BNP President Lokman Ahmed, Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Kaptai Harunur Rashid, Director of Christian Hospital, Dr. Prabir Kheyang, and Md. Delwar Hossain, Kaptai Assistant Information Officer. In addition, journalists Nazrul Islam Lavlu, journalists Jhulan Dutta, Christian Hospital Manager Bijoy Marma, teachers Jahangir Alam, Joysim Barua and Headman Thoai Aung Marma spoke. The speakers recalled UNO Ruhul Amin’s work during his tenure, his people-friendly initiatives and administrative skills. Many of those present became emotional. The event turned into a mass reception with the participation of leaders of various political and social organizations, journalists, teachers, headmen, upazila officials and employees, and people from all walks of life in Kaptai.

In his farewell speech, Ruhul Amin said that while he was serving in Kaptai, he received sincere cooperation from people from all walks of life. Along with implementing government instructions, his main goal was to ensure public service. He said that Kaptai will be a memorable chapter in his career. The love of the people here, the cooperation of his colleagues and the sincerity of the public representatives have inspired him. Wherever he will serve in the country in the future, this love of the people of Kaptai will inspire him. At the end of the ceremony, he was presented with a commemorative plaque. In the evening, a farewell was held in an emotional atmosphere through a cultural performance.
