A day-long Partner Field School Congress was held under the Partner Project in Barura, Comilla.
On Tuesday, May 5, from 10 am, the day-long Partner Field School Congress organized by the Upazila Agricultural Extension Department was held at the Barura Upazila Parishad auditorium, with Md. Zahidul Islam, the president of the program and Barura Upazila Agriculture Officer, presiding, and Barura Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Asaduzzaman Rony present as the chief guest.
The event was attended by special guests including Md. Rezaul Karim, District Training Officer of Comilla Agricultural Extension Department, Syed Jahirul Haque Swapan, General Secretary of Barura Upazila BNP, President of Barura Municipality BNP and former Freedom Fighters’ Sangsad Commander Bir Muktijoddha Shamsul Haque Sardar, Chairman of Shakpur Union Parishad Md. Abdul Khalek Munshi.
The event was addressed by Md. Ali Newaz, President of Barura Thana Press Club, Md. Masud Majumder, General Secretary of Barura Press Club, Md. Ilias Ahmed, General Secretary of Barura Upazila Press Club, Md. Ikramul Haque, among others.
Present at the time were Deputy Assistant Agricultural Officers of Barura Upazila Agricultural Extension Department Mohammad Ali, Pradeep Das, Md. Mohiuddin, Abdur Rahman Mridha, Emran Hossain, Shahanara Akhter, Mabiya Akhter,
Md. Muhibur Rahman, farmers and farmers from different areas and others.
On this day, the Upazila Agricultural Extension Department presented detailed information and suggestions about the day-long Partner Field School Congress.
At this time, the discussants called on everyone to come forward to bring food security and progress to the developing country in the future of Bangladesh.
