The trophy unveiling and inauguration of the Inter-Departmental Football Competition 2025-26 was held with the participation of students at Noakhali University of Science and Technology (NSTU). Today, Sunday (April 26, 2026), the University’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Rezwanul Haque was present as the special guest at the event organized at the NSTU Central Playground. The NSTU Physical Education Department organized the event. Speaking as the special guest, NSTU Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Rezwanul Haque said, “Winning and losing are part of the game. Keeping this in mind, we have to participate in the game. I hope that our teachers will be present on the field and encourage the players.” I would like to thank everyone involved, including the Physical Education Department, for the beautification of the NSTU central field and I seek everyone’s cooperation in the progress of NSTU . The program was presided over by the Director (Acting) of the Physical Education Department, Dr. Md. Ruhul Kabir. The program was moderated by the Deputy Directors of the Department, Sanjeev Kumar Dey and Mahmudur Rahman. The Institute of Information Technology (IIT) Director (Acting) Mohammad Nizam Uddin, Director of the Student Counseling and Guidance Department, Dr. Md. Shiblur Rahman, Director (Acting) of the Public Relations and Publications Department, Professor Dr. Gazi Md. Mohsin, along with teachers, students, officials, employees, journalists and players from various departments were present as invited guests.
