A rally and discussion meeting was held in Kaptai Upazila to celebrate World Malaria Day 2026 with the theme “Firmly determined to eradicate malaria; We can do it, we have to do it ourselves.” The program was organized by Kaptai Upazila Health Complex and in collaboration with non-governmental development organization BRAC on Saturday (April 25) morning. The discussion meeting was presided over by Dr. Ruihla Ang Marma, Health and Family Planning Officer of the Upazila Health Complex. BRAC’s Kaptai Upazila Manager Panna Chakma and Health Inspector of the Upazila Health Complex Sunil Kanti Chakma spoke at the discussion meeting organized in the conference room of the Upazila Health Complex.
Earlier, a rally was taken out from the Upazila Health Complex premises, which circled important roads and ended at the same place.
