Eati Akhter : The Bangladesh Editors Forum’s Eid-ul-Fitr Meeting and General Meeting was held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Motijheel Kitchen Yard in the capital. At the beginning of the program, the organization’s Finance Secretary and Editor of the Daily Muktir Lorai newspaper, Kamruzzaman Joni, recited the Quran.
The introduction was held under the presidency of organization Md. Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury Chairmanes of organization and Editor of the Daily Amadar Bangla newspaper.
The program was moderated by the organization’s General Secretary , Md. Omar Faruk Jalal (Chief Editor of Daily Present Times). Also present were the organization’s Senior Vice Chairman Rafiq Ullah Sikder (Daily Alo Barta), Senior Vice Chairman Ashok Dhar (Editor Daily Swadesh Bichitra), Mohammad Moniruzzaman, Vice Chairman of the organization (Editor Daily Bank Bima Aurthonete), Md. Fazlur Rahman Zulfikar (Daily Diner Alo), Md. Mazharul Islam (Daily Pather Alo), Ashraf Sarkar (Daily Ekusher Bani), Md. Yakub Ali (Daily Ekusher Bani), Md. Mahbub Islam (Editor and Publisher Weekly Adhunik Sangbad), Dr. Mirza Mohibul Hasan (Editor Daily Banga Sangbad), also present were the organization’s Women’s Affairs Secretary Nurunnahar Rita (Editor Daily Naba Jibon), Khaleda Akhter, Editor Fortnightly Desh Economise and Shamsur Rahman, Editor Thikana News Online.
