A heartfelt and lively Eid reunion was held in Laksam at the initiative of various non-political and non-profit social organizations, where collective efforts were emphasized to prevent injustice, irregularities and corruption from the society.
About 85 members participated in the program organized at Green View Restaurant at 7 pm on Saturday (April 4). It included an introductory session, open discussion, exchange of views and cultural performances, which enlivened the entire event.
The program was hosted by journalist and cultural organizer G.M.S. Rubel.
MS Doha, Abdul Quddus, Arifur Rahman Swapan, Faruk Al Sharah, Zafar Ahmed, Abdur Rahim, Selim Chowdhury Hira, Amjad Hossain, Zahid Anwar Shanto, Hamidul Islam, Nazmul Islam, cultural personality Professor Mozammel Hossain Payar, business organizer Md. Abul Kalam, Mujibul Haque, Mohammad Shah Noor and women leader Khondaker Nazmun Nahar Nupur and representatives of various organizations spoke in the discussion.
The speakers said that if the non-political and public welfare organizations of Laksham work together, then social harmony will be stronger and the quality of citizen services will improve. They emphasized that it is possible to prevent injustice, irregularities and corruption from the society only through united efforts. At the same time, emphasis was placed on increasing mutual coordination and cooperation between the organizations.
