SoundBangla-Swadhinatar Poems and Songs Held was organized by the National Cultural Society. On the afternoon of March 27, at the Bijoy Auditorium on Topkhana Road, one of the organization’s founding poets, Shanta Farzana, with Ashok Dhar, editor of Dainik Swadesh Bichitra, as the chief guest. The guests were journalist leader Shafiur Rahman, Dhaka Sub Editors Council Training and Research Editor Tarek Hossain Bappi, poet Abdul Haque Chashi, artist poet Bimal Saha, poet Al Amin Bairagi and Syed Faruk Ahmed. Poets Bimal Saha and Tahrin Rahman performed poems and songs of independence. Â The guests present at the SoundBangla-Paltanadda-225th event, hosted by Momin Mehedi, executive director of publishing and production company SoundBangla, said that the new generation wants an aesthetic Bangladesh. Their goal is to be on the side of Bangladesh, they are preparing to say ‘no’ to the anti-independence and their supporters through poetry, speech, slogans and songs.
