Newcomer Reception Ceremony Held at Kaptai Naval School and College

The students admitted to class XI for the academic year 2025-2026 have been welcomed at Kaptai Naval School and College in Rangamati. A short discussion meeting and a colorful cultural program were held on the institution premises at 10 am on Wednesday (September 24).
Commodore Amanat Ullah, Commander of Bangladesh Navy Base Kaptai Shaheed Moazzem and Chairman of the Governing Body of the institution, spoke as the chief guest at the ceremony. He told the students, “College is a session that can radically change your life. You will become enlightened people and build this country.” The meeting was presided over by Commander Alif Ullah, Principal of Naval School and College. Dr. Prabir Khiang, member of the governing body and director of Chandraghona Christian Hospital, senior officers of the base, teachers and students, were present. The welcome speech was delivered by the vice-principal of the institution, M. Jahangir Alam. Everyone was impressed by the pleasant cultural performances before and after the program. Under the direction of radio and television musician Jhulan Dutta and college lecturer Tamanna Islam, students and invited artists performed umbrella dance, bottle dance, fusion dance, Jari songs and band music. The entire campus was filled with the brilliance of music and dance.
