A fire has broken out in a restaurant on the ground floor of a 10-storey building in Siraj Tower on Bailey Road in the capital. Nine units of the fire service are working to control the fire.
The Fire Service and Civil Defense received a report of the fire at 6:47 pm on Monday (May 5).
Fire Service Duty Officer Khaleda Yasmin gave this information.
She said that five units were initially sent to the ground floor of the 10-storey building in Siraj Tower on Bailey Road after receiving a report of a fire. Later, four more units joined in to control the fire.
