Five foreigners, including a Moroccan woman, have been arrested for involvement in the smuggling of a large amount of drug Yaba tablets in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
Major Muhammad Al-Nuzaidi, spokesman for the Narcotics Control Directorate, said 3.6 million (3 million 60 thousand) pieces of the drug Yaba amphetamine tablets were seized hidden in a shipment of potatoes.
Among those arrested were two Jordanians, a Moroccan woman, a Syrian and an Egyptian national who came to Saudi Arabia on a visit visa.
They were arrested while receiving a consignment of drugs in Riyadh. After initial legal action against the arrested criminals, they were sent for public prosecution.
