Feni Battalion (4 BGB) has successfully conducted two consecutive operations over the past two days and seized a large amount of Indian smuggled goods from the Feni border area.
On November 19 and 20, 2025, based on secret information, multiple patrol teams of 4 BGB conducted separate operations in different border areas of Fulgazi, Chhagalnaiya, Parashuram in the district and Zorarganj police station in Mirsarai upazila of Chittagong district.
During the operation, the BGB was able to seize Indian sarees, three-pieces, Punjabis, various types of clothes, chocolates, liquor, cows and a CNG autorickshaw used for smuggling. The estimated market value of the seized goods is Tk 1 crore 7 lakh 48 thousand 175. The process of handing over these goods to the local customs office and the concerned police station is underway.
The BGB said that as a symbol of security and trust at the border, they are constantly working tirelessly to guard the border, prevent illegal drug trafficking, prevent smuggling and prevent infiltration. Their operational activities and intelligence activities in the border areas will continue.
