At least 30 people from both sides were injured in the clash that took place on Tuesday morning in Parmanandpur village of Pakshimul Union of Sarail Upazila of Brahmanbaria. The police went and brought the situation under control. The police arrested four persons during the operation. According to the locals, there was already a dispute between Noor Ali-Ayub group and Moti-Zafar group in Parmanandpur village of Pakshimul Union. As a result, on Tuesday, people from both sides clashed with indigenous weapons. At least 50 people from both sides were injured in the clash. The injured were treated at various clinics including Brahmanbaria District Headquarters Hospital. Sarail police station officer-in-charge (OC) Mohammad Emranul Islam said that there was a previous dispute between the two parties in the area. Eight to 10 people were injured in the resulting clash.
