RAB-15 has arrested three fraudsters involved in making birth certificates for Rohingyas by making them Bangladeshi national identity cards. Based on this news, RAB has set up a temporary check post on the road in front of Wedding Park Community Center in Link Road area of ​​Ward No. 4 of Jhelongja Union of Cox’s Bazar Sadar at around 3 am on Friday morning. When a CNG vehicle came in front of the check post, the passengers sitting in the back seat of the vehicle tried to escape after seeing the presence of RAB. At that time, the raiding party was able to arrest Sabuj Sarkar, Khaleda Begum and Noor Begum Ruma. He further said that after searching a paper file held by the arrested Sabuj, 3 birth registration cards with different names, 1 android phone, 1 button mobile phone and 3 SIM cards were recovered. In the initial interrogation, the detainees said that they were Rohingya citizens sheltered in Bangladesh, but with the help of the green government, they illegally created fake birth registrations with false information in exchange for money and have been using them for the purpose of fraud. Basically, for the purpose of cheating, they used to supply and use fake birth certificates as true. This RAB official also said that a written statement has been submitted to the Cox’s Bazar Sadar Model Police Station to take necessary legal action against the arrested along with the recovered goods.
