Three Bangladeshis of the same family were killed in a tragic road accident on their way back to Dammam city after performing Umrah in the holy Mecca of Saudi Arabia.  His wife and elder daughter were injured in the incident.
 The accident took place in Al-Qasim area around 10:00 a.m. Saudi time on Saturday (August 5).
 The deceased are – Mubarak Hossain (48), his son Mahi (17) and daughter Mahia (14).
 The injured are Mubarak Hossain’s wife Shikha Akhtar (40) and elder daughter Mithila Farzana Meem (19).  They are under treatment at a local hospital.
 Mubarak Hossain’s house is in Hajiganj area of ​​Charbhadrasan upazila of Faridpur district.
 According to information, Mubarak Hossain was living in Dammam city of Saudi Arabia with his family for almost two centuries.  He has a car repair shop there.  Last Thursday (August 3) he left for the holy Mecca to perform Umrah in his private car with his entire family.
 They were returning to their home in Dammam on Saturday (August 5) after performing Umrah.  On the way, when they reached a place called Al-Qasim, a car hit their car hard from behind.  Their car overturned and the five occupants were seriously injured.  The police rescued them and took them to a local hospital where doctors declared the three dead.  It is said that the remaining two are under treatment in the hospital with injuries.
