The 23rd anniversary of Dhruvatara, a cultural organization, was celebrated in Comilla. On Friday afternoon, September 8, a cake-cutting ceremony, discussion and cultural program were held at the lounge of the District Arts Academy.
President of Dhruvatara, music artist Ekramul Haque, president of Sammilit Sanskultur Jot Comilla district branch and president of Bangladesh College Teachers Association (Bakshis) Principal Hasan Imam Majumdar Fatik were present as chief guests in the event. Dr. Ali Hossain Chowdhury, former president of Comilla Comilla Press Club Abul Hasan Babul, teacher Selina Rahman Opel, ex-governor of Rotary District 3282 Rotarian Dilnashi Mohsen, reciter Badrul Huda Jenu, Pratibimb Theater were present as special guests in the program moderated by culture worker Md. Omar Farooq. President Shahjahan Chowdhury, Comilla Cultural Complex General Secretary Sheikh Farid Uddin Ahmed.
Prof. Nazma Ahmed, Ms. Zobaida Noor Khan, Principal Bidhanchandra, Prof. Masud Majumdar, Ms. Faizunnessa Seema, Tapan Sengupta, Kazi Nazmul Haque, Belal Uddin and others spoke to congratulate Dhrubatara on its foundation anniversary. On the occasion, the guests cut the foundation anniversary cake followed by a mesmerizing cultural program performed by Dhruvatara artistes.
