On June 03, 2023, a raiding team of RAB-10 conducted an operation in the Wari area of the capital Dhaka and arrested 03 drug dealers with 280 pure heroin. Name of arrested drug dealers 1. Abu Bakr Siddique Babu (23), 2. Ashraful Alam Shiblu (34) and 3. Gautam Saha (38) says. Meanwhile, 01 motorcycle and 03 mobile phones used for transporting drugs were seized from them.
Besides, on the same date, a raiding team of RAB-10 conducted an operation in Jashurgaon bypass area under Srinagar Thana of Munshiganj district and arrested 03 drug dealers with 51 pieces of Yaba tablets. Name of arrested drug dealers 1. Md Rifat Molla (19), 2. Md. Sujan Sheikh (20) and 3. Tanveer Ahmed is known as Tanmoy (21). Meanwhile, 02 mobile phones and cash of drug sale – 600/- (six hundred) taka were recovered from them.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the arrested persons are professional drug dealers. They have been supplying heroin and other drugs including Yaba to Wari and Srinagar and surrounding areas for quite some time.
A separate drug case has been registered against the arrested persons in the concerned police station.
