In Chapainawabganj, youth gathering of Red Crescent Society was held with the hope of building a more dynamic humanitarian generation. 60 youth members of 15 units under Bangladesh Red Crescent Society Chapainawabganj district branch unit participated in the youth gathering organized by Kalyanpur Hoticulture in Chapainawabganj district town on Saturday (February 18) morning. Abdul Hakim, Vice Chairman of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society Chapainawabganj district branch unit presided over the youth rally. General secretary of Chapainawabganj district unit Ashiq Ahmed Farooq, executive member Syed Hasan Mahmud Shantuu, former vice and heroic freedom fighter Monim Ud- Dola, Executive Member Abdur Rakib, Member Abu Sufian, Life Member Nawabganj City College Teacher Moazzem Hossain and Baliadanga School Teacher Shefali Khatun were present among the members. Teachers and students of various schools and colleges of the district were also present. Jilani, Abdul Halim, Bipasha etc. were present among the volunteers of the district unit.
Speakers said volunteers are bravely conducting humanitarian activities in any disaster. It is working in the service of humanity from the side of endangered people. Youth volunteers are the driving force of the society in these service activities. The guests said these things by advising these volunteers to work with honesty and devotion. On the occasion of the Youth Rally, a day-long voluntary blood donation program was taken up. Chapainawabganj district branch unit of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society distributed the raffle draw prizes after lunch.
