Chittagong District Correspondent : Skilled youth will build a country without discrimination in Bangladesh, the Chittagong Divisional Workshop titled “Implementation and Evaluation of Microfinance Self-Employment Program” for the fiscal year 2024-2025 was organized by the Office of the Deputy Director of the Youth Development Department, Chittagong on May 22. The event was presided over by Chittagong Deputy Commissioner Farida Khanam, and the Chief Guest, Director General (Great One) of the Youth Development Department, Dr. Gazi Mohammad Saifuzzaman, delivered a guiding speech at the workshop via video conference. The special guest was the Director of the Department of Youth Development, Poverty Alleviation Loan (Joint Secretary) Priyo Sindhu Talukder, the welcome address was given by the Deputy Director of the Department of Youth Development, Chittagong District, Mohammad Abul Basar, the Deputy Director, Assistant Director and Upazila Youth Development Officers of 9 districts including the host district, Chittagong participated in the workshop. The evaluation of loan activities and future steps were discussed in detail in the workshop.
