The annual sports and cultural competition of West Chandkathi Phulkundi Children’s School of Jhalkathi was held under various arrangements. District Jubo League convener and 1st Ward Municipal Councilor Rezaul Karim Zakir was the chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony of the annual sports and cultural competition at the school grounds on Monday at 10 am. Press club vice-president journalist Advocate Akkas Sikder, Rupali Bank officer Md Jahangir Hossain, AKM Akramul Haque, press club executive member journalist Zahirul Islam Jalil and Jubo League leader Faisal Mahmud Sayel were special guests. School President and Sadar Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Moin Talukdar presided over the event. The overall management of the program was the head teacher Ferdousi Yasmin. At the end of the competition, the guests gave away the prizes to the winners. Students participate in various competitions including running, biscuit run, recitation, dance and spectacular events including dressing up as they wish. All teachers, parents and minor children of the school were present. The school has been contributing to the education of children with reputation since its establishment in 2010.
